March News

FAB March News - Spring is coming, get ready to ride.

A Note From Our President

This past week was remarkable to me as I observed what I think was an unprecedented level of engagement in our beautiful bicycling community by our riders. Early in the week Art and David went to Washington, D.C. and participated in the League of American Bicyclists’ National Bike Summit. At the same time Jodi and I sat with a few local riders in a room full of people participating in DTSF, Inc’s Community Matters event. Art and David talked bicycling and FAB with Senator Thune & Senator Rounds and Representative Noem. I was able to sit on a panel at the Community Matters event as the FAB President and sometimes bend the conversation toward how riding a bicycle fits into the agenda of a strong town, a strong community.

Progress is incremental and organic and it is happening.

By the way, have you seen “Bikes May Use Full Lane” signs on 22nd St, 49th St, Minnesota and Cliff Aves?

President, Falls Area Bicyclists
